On impulse last weekend, we hit the Hilo Farmer's Market. Although intending to just pick up some kalamansi, I started chatting with "Josh," who was selling some locally-made beauty products. Excellent salesman that he was, I had a demo of the above body scrub right there on the spot, on my hands -- and I was sold. Shown above, left, is his "Java Mama Scrub," which contains Kona coffee, Maui sugar, brown sugar, coconut oil and sweet almond oil. Not only were my hands incredibly smooth (but not oily), but they smelled wonderful. I also purchased the little container of lip gloss -- very nice -- and the pretty soap, below. You can find their products at the Farmer's Market in Hilo, as well as on etsy.com. (www.etsy.com/shop/pbnjbeautyproducts).
