Aloha!
My name is Marla, and thank you for stopping by Cruel Ironing.
"Cruel Ironing" is just a play on words, but I still believe ironing is cruel and inhumane.
I am a wife, a mother, and work full-time in HR. That doesn't leave a lot of time for domestic things, but I love that stuff. Most of it. You'll see, I don't do it all.
I also blog at wisebread.com.
We live on the Big Island of Hawaii, and through this blog I will share its beauty, culture, and delightful everyday life.
My sincere thanks to several people who encouraged me to start this blog:
To my husband ("Mr. Logistical"), who is the best person I know
To my daughter, my jewel, who keeps me laughing
To MZ, who patiently listens to every little idea I have, and said START A BLOG already
To the fantastic folks at wisebread.com: Lynn, Greg, Will and Meg, for their infinite patience
To my parents, who gave me the gift of a wonderful, safe childhood
To the people of Hawaii, who have taught me what it means to live with aloha.
